The project belongs to a special exhibition at Gunma Museum of Natural History.

The project starts from an order of the museum. A curator considered creating a new colouring page series for a special exhibition.
In the museum colouring pages are very popular, because during children focus on it parents manage to time to see an exhibition. The curator wanted to exhibit some of the contemporary artworks in a local history museum. The plan was an advanced idea in Japan.
My colouring pages were coloured by kids and exhibited in an area of the special exhibition. The area was called "Atelier". The curator wishes to use a part of the wall, therefore we exhibited children's work on the Atelier wall. And children could colour at the table.

群馬県立自然史博物館からのご依頼でスタートした企画となります。担当学芸員による第69回目の企画展向けの新しいぬりえの作成を検討していました。博物館では、子供たちがぬりえに没頭している間に、親は展示を見ることができるので、コンテンツの１つとして、ぬりえはとても人気があります。また、担当者は小規模ではあるものの現代美術を絡めた展示を博物館で試みようとしており、日本の博物館の展示としてはとても前衛的だったと思います。
子供たちに塗ってもらったぬりえは、企画展の中にある「アトリエ」というエリアで展示しました。子供たちはアトリエに用意いただいたテーブルで色塗りをしました。

I made six colouring pages total, all motifs of the minerals are collections of the museum. The process of the painting, never gave a rough sketch of the motif. I Always directly draw illustrations with a pen.

全６種類のぬりえを作成しました。モチーフになった鉱石は全て博物館で所蔵されているものです。描く過程では、モチーフの大まかなスケッチはしません。いつもペンで直接描いています。
